Your Questions Answered
- 1. How long can I hire for?
- You may hire for as long as you like. There is, however, a three-month minimum period.
- 2. How do I pay?
- Apart from the initial payment, payments are made monthly by Standing Order from your bank. We will need to refer to your chequebook for your full bank details.
- 3. Can I, at some stage, buy my hire instrument?
- We will allow the equivalent of a maximum three months rental payments by way of discount against the purchase price of the instrument - as long as all your payments are up to date and the terms and conditions of the agreement have been adhered to. The hire agreement does not at any time convert into a Hire Purchase Agreement. To purchase the instrument at any time after the minimum three month period the full balance is payable.
- 4. What about insurance?
- You are responsible for the instrument whilst in your care. You may wish to add it to your home insurance or we can recommend a specialist insurer
- 5. Who is responsible for maintaining the instrument?
- You are responsible for day-to-day maintenance costs such as replacing broken strings, broken reeds etc, but not servicing due to normal wear and tear.
- 6. How do I end the hire agreement?
- Just return the instrument any time after the initial three-month period, complete with any accessories. Our staff will check the instrument, and if everything is satisfactory you will be given a receipt, which you should retain as evidence of the return.
- 7. Apart from a Chequebook, what other identification do I need?
- You must be 18 years and over to hire from us. Please bring at least one valid Credit or Debit card and proof of your address (e.g. Utilities bill or Driving Licence).
