New Vintage guitars in stock

Big delivery just arrived! Highlights include:

The V1200 - a stunning folk size guitar with a florentine cutaway and spalted maple binding and rosette. Made of all solid tonewoods (spruce/mahogany) and sporting a Fishman pickup, this is a great sounding, great value guitar.

The V1300 - all solid version of the popular and award-winning V300.

The V700 - super jumbo with flamed maple back and sides, giving an excellent balance between bass and treble notes. Available in Natural or Vintage Sunburst.

Teaching school opening soon

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be providing the first of our group tuition facilities in the shop. Initially, we will be providing guitar lessons for 4-6 pupils, in classes for both electric and acoustic guitar. Courses will run on a termly basis, and our first courses will be for beginners, either focusing on Rockschool (electric) Grade 1, or learning the equivalant skills in a custom designed course.

New LAG Tramontane guitars in stock

We have just taken delivery of LAG guitars, including two models from their new Tramontane range.

The T100D is a beautiful sounding dreadnought with a solid Red Cedar top and Old Port Mahogany back and sides, making the guitar ideal for finger-picking or for those who want a sound that is big, but still rich and warm. It's sibling, the T200 has honey mahogany back and sides and a beautiful satin finish.

The T66DCE is a cutaway electro model with a spruce top, honey mahogany back and sides and stunning black binding. It also features a DirectLag preamp and nanoflex piezo pickup, so the sound is just as good whether amped up or unplugged. The T66A is a folk size version, and is available as an acoustic or electro.

We are pleased to add Chord instruments to our product range. We will be stocking a range of their great quality, affordable instruments, amps and accessories, including the all-valve CV-30 amp, which uses the same types of valves as a Fender Twin, at a fraction of the cost!
